The itinerary start at Tarangire rocky valley where giant baobabs grow, follow out to ngorongoro crater, covered with thousand pink flamingo and hippo. Continuing the route goes down to volcanic crater of ngorongoro aged more than millions years and finalize the trip via two days game drive in endless plain of Serengeti national park. Here you will have the chance to take full picture of the wild world of Tanzania. Your trip will lie on the tropical and semi desert filled with volcanic soil. Tour Plan
Morning:
- Departure from Arusha – After breakfast, depart from Arusha around 8:00 AM. It’s a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.
- Arrival at Tarangire – Enter the park around mid-morning. Known for its huge elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and scenic landscapes, Tarangire is a fantastic place to start the safari.
Afternoon:
- Picnic Lunch – Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s designated spots with beautiful views of the landscape and wildlife.
- Afternoon Game Drive – After lunch, continue your game drive. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, and various bird species.
Evening:
- Overnight at Lodge/Tented Camp – Head to your lodge or tented camp inside or near the park, where you’ll relax, enjoy dinner, and settle in for the night.
Morning:
- Early Breakfast & Departure – After an early breakfast, leave Tarangire and head toward Serengeti National Park. It’s a scenic 5-6 hour drive with a stop at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way.
- Optional Stop at a Maasai Village – Experience Maasai culture with a short visit, learning about their traditional way of life (if interested).
Afternoon:
- Lunch en route or at the Serengeti Gate – Arrive at the entrance of Serengeti, have a packed or on-site lunch.
- Afternoon Game Drive – Begin your Serengeti safari as you head deeper into the park. Look out for the famous Serengeti wildlife: large herds of wildebeest, zebra, lions, cheetahs, and more.
Evening:
- Overnight at Lodge/Tented Camp in Serengeti – After an exciting day of game viewing, enjoy dinner at your lodge or tented camp and relax.
Morning:
- Sunrise Game Drive – Begin the day early with a sunrise game drive. This is a great time to catch the predators as they are often active in the morning. Witness the golden light of dawn illuminating the plains.
Late Morning to Afternoon:
- Return for Breakfast – Head back to your camp for breakfast and some relaxation.
- Extended Game Drive – After breakfast, continue exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains, looking out for the "Big Five" and other resident animals like hippos, crocodiles, and birds.
Afternoon:
- Picnic Lunch – Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, allowing you to maximize your game-viewing time.
Evening:
- Return to Camp – Relax in the evening at your camp or lodge with dinner.
Early Morning:
- Early Breakfast & Departure – After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. Drive time is about 2-3 hours.
Morning to Afternoon:
- Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – Descend into the Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has one of the highest densities of wildlife, with a chance to spot lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and a diverse array of other animals.
Picnic Lunch – Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool inside the crater.
Afternoon:
- Drive Back to Arusha – After the crater tour, start the drive back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon or early evening.
